The only difference is that as a travel nurse, the individual will only work for a period of thirteen weeks in a given establishment. After this period is over, the nurse will be free to move to another hospital or to a different position, depending on their needs. In order to become a travel nurse, the individuals need to undergo CNA training.  The best thing is that they will undergo the same training as any other CNA nurses. The training will involve both class training and the internship part, where they will practice what they learnt.  They have the freedom to choose between the brick and mortar schools or the online training.  The duration of the classes will depend on a number of things such as the school they have selected or the program. Most of the time, the program will take between few weeks to almost six months to complete.

After completing the training, the Travel nurse will have a wide number of areas to work from. The amount of money to start with will range from an annual income between $21,000 and $31,000. The best thing about this career is that they will increase their chances of increasing their earnings by 20%.  Just like the other careers, the amount of money will increase with experience; therefore the longer the nurse is in that position, the more money they will get.

The only problem that comes with travel nurse career is that the salaries will depend on the facility they will work in, and the city or state. This therefore means that the salary may increase or reduce after every thirteen weeks as they negotiate for a new contract.  It is important for them to keep in mind that they need to be completely flexible in order to be move from one location to another. With this in mind, they need to be prepared to look for new place and new employment in order to make it as a travel nurse.
